I cannot tell you how great it has been watching my son (age 5) excel and grow! He has developed a love of soccer because of Coach Tamera! She has motivated my son like no one has ever done before! He has Sensory integration issues and has had trouble focusing, staying in line and following directions. He has made a lot of progress and feels very proud of himself! Coach has made his progress possible and since coordination was somewhat of a problem she has improved his skills tremendously! I was taking him to Occupational therapy for the above mentioned things, but he does not need it anymore! At school he was receiving therapy but test out of it. Coach Tamera has become his friend as well as mine. He loves her and can’t wait for soccer! He is waiting at the front door, dressed and ready to go! (I can’t explain how hard it has bee to dress him for things before). He never wants to miss it or be late. When it is over he does not want to leave the field! He insists on staying for goal training and wants to do academy training. Recently, he was ready to move up to a new soccer ball. Coach gave him one! He sleeps with it! He has instilled not only the need for training like no other coach done, but also a love for soccer! You will come to depend on her not just to teach your child soccer. (Anybody can do that) but she instills good sportsmanship, great techniques, and a true appreciation for the sport! We love Coach Tamera Hatfield and the AZ Soccer Academy and you will too!!
